Alpacas are adorable, docile and soft, herbivore herd animals. They are highly valued for their soft fur and the delightful combination of colors and textures of it. They resemble their cousins, llamas, and even camels, but alpacas are smaller than all of them. Alpacas only exist as domesticated animals now, and are raised far from their home in the Andes Mountains. While not usually thought of as interesting, alpacas are very clever and funny animals. They are very quiet and gentle animals, safe to be around and children love them!If you want to meet our lovely Alpacas, come to our Safari Wild Animal Park and spend some time in nature with these amazing animals!
